With a Barbershop manager and lead barber with a collective 25 years of men’s grooming experience, you are in the safest of hands with us.

Meet Lori
OWNER
With over 25 years in hairdressing, Lori still genuinely loves everything about it. Salon and Barbershop owner. Lori trained extensively across the UK, including with Wella and José in London. Lori has worked everywhere from high-end salons to a cruise ship in the Caribbean. She’s honed skills in all aspects of hairdressing, but creating bespoke bridal styles and bold colour transformations is where she thrives. She feels so lucky to still be behind the chair, doing what she loves and helping people feel their best.

Meet Ewan
LEAD BARBER
Ewan is English-trained barber with years of experience in the heart of Canterbury and Brighton.
He believes a good barbering experience comes with a proper cut, and a great service and is excited to provide that for you and welcome you to The Chairman.

Meet Becky
BARBER
Hi I’m Becky, I’ve been in the industry for almost 20years now and it has always been my passion. My uncle had a salon in Sevenoaks and after spending time there as a child I knew hairdressing was what I wanted to do from a young age. I started my career in a family run salon just outside of London, completing both my NVQ levels 2 and 3, then working my way up to senior stylist. I love being in the salon and meeting new people and making them feel great about their hair. I look forward to welcoming you to the chairman soon.

Meet Lewis
BARBER
Hi, my name is Lewis, I’m 25 years old and I’ve been doing barbering since I left school and really found a passion in my career. I’ve worked in various barbershops across East Sussex and have taken a lot of experience along with me. Along my journey I have met a lot different, very experienced barbers who very kindly gave me excellent advice so I’m able to bring this on with me when dealing with my clientele. When I’m not in the barbershop, You’ll find me in the pub. I’m very passionate about what I do and make it clear in my work.

Meet Terence
BARBER-IN-TRAINING
Terence has done a an an array of interesting jobs in the past but for the last 20years has been working as a lorry driver. For the past 7 years, he also has co-owed & directed Luxfords Hair & Beauty in Folkestone - and of course the Chairman Barbers since it’s opening in March 2024. Terence is now on a training journey into his new career in barbering alongside running things behind the scenes on both the salon and the barbershop.
